Haunui is a fusion of New Zealand Halfbred and Fine Romney stock, line-bred for generations to ensure the very highest quality. Its beautiful coloring comes from the natural shades of the fleece. The non-mulesed sheep are raised ethically and have their fleece gently sheared while leaving a layer of protection behind. The fleece is sent to Noro in Japan, where it is lovingly carded and spun and never over processed.

NOTE: the label for this yarn says the gauge is 14-16 sts per 4 inches on a US #7-8 needle. However, the patterns are designed for worsted weight yarn, 16-20 sts per 4 inches on a US #7-9 needle.
